My new venture: Postal Art T&T 2.0
On this art project we aim to have the international and local participation of artists. The topic for this project is “I had a dream” , where people’s ‘dream’ (submissions) will be part of an upcoming exhibition.

This is the zine (catalogue) of Postal Art T&T | Self-portrait project. The nature of the project suited this old school style that zines have.
It was fun the process of designing it. Cutting and pasting, and I’m not talking about Ctrl+X - Ctrl+V… there was real cut and paste, photocopies + scanning + printing + stapling = Fun old school work.
I created a rubber stamp that reads “Trinidada”. I use it to stamp the wrapped band that seal the zine.
+ Size: 8.5 x 5.5 inchs (letter size folded)
+ 22 pages plus covers
+ With a handmade wrapped band to seal it
In mail art a certificate of participation it is usually made, which includes the name and address of the participants. Since they were too many to fit on one page, I decided to do something more fun, like “Where’s Waldo?”.
I just included the name and the country in the artwork. The participant will have to go around the page to find his/her name.
A similar design is included in the the zine- catalogue of the project.
